Roger Leon Outler, age 95 of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Aperion-Care of Bridgeport. He was born July 24, 1928, in Birds to Daniel and Ethel (Catterton) Outler.
In 1952, Roger married Patricia Bish in Hammond, IN. For 72 years, they devoted their lives to their family and building beautiful memories together.
As a young man, Roger served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Air Force. Upon returning home, he furthered his education and became an automotive engineer. He had worked as a diesel specialist for Allis-Chalmers for many years. Later in life, he worked in maintenance for Sears.
He was a member of Gideons International, American Legion, and Society of Engineers.
Surviving family includes: four children- Roger C. Outler and his wife Lynette of Clarksville, IN; Brad Outler and his wife Margaret of Olathe, KS; Patrick Outler and his wife Jackie of Missouri; and Darryl Outler and his wife Kristen of Overland Park, KS:
