Jun. 23, 1945 - May. 15, 2024 Centerville, Texas - William Russell "Bill" Earnest, Sr., age 78, of Centerville passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Bill was born June 23, 1945 in Lawrenceville, Illinois to parents, Francis Paul Earnest and Joyce Elizabeth Lewis Earnest. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Masonic Lothrop Lodge #21 AM FM. Bill owned and operated a mechanic shop for many years where he was a master at working on 18 wheelers, also cars and trucks. He was a member of the Davy Crockett Classic Cars Club and loved to fish and spend time with family and friends. Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Starlene Earnest of Centerville; children, Lesia Meshell Seymour and husband, Brian of Fayetteville, William Russell "Rusty" Earnest, Jr. and wife, Kristy of Alvin, Leonna Jeanette Saye and husband, Tom of Algoa; sisters, Paula Jeanette Earnest Pursell of Lawrenceville, IL, Penny Earnest Mills of Bridgeport, IL; brother, Sam Ritchie; grandchildren,
