Aug. 2, 1934 - Aug. 20, 2024 Sumner, Ill. - Larry Dane Legg, age 90, of Sumner, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at his residence. He was born on August 02, 1934 in Lawrence County, Illinois, the son of Chester Arlie and Leona (Parrott) Legg. He married Dorothy Wright, and they had two daughters together. He married Carolyn Parrott, and they spent many years together.Larry served his country in the United States Army as a cook. He was a retired lifelong farmer, as well as a buyer and hauler of livestock. He served on the Bridgeport Township School Board. Larry enjoyed attending4-H livestock shows, collecting horns from Longhorn cattle, woodworking, listening to country music, coon hunting, and mushroom hunting. He was fondly known by many as 'T-Bone'.Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Mervin Legg, Carold Legg, and Wayne Legg; and one sister, Velma Wade.Survivors include two daughters, Lisa O'Brien and husband, Jim of Olney, Illinois and Jana McCla
